Camila Cabello Quickly Deleted Her Angry Tweets Calling Out Football Fans For Heckling Her During Performance

After leaving the girl group Fifth Harmony, Camila is flying high in her solo career. From scoring Number 1 on Billboard to performing at the most sought-after venues, she’s truly living a singer’s dream. On 28th May the Senorita crooner performed at the Union of European Football Associations’ 2022 Champions League Final. The match was between Real Madrid and Liverpool, the stadium was packed with die-hard fans of soccer.

Camila performed a six-minute set to open the match which consisted of her hit tracks like “Havana” “Bam Bam” and “Senorita”. The performance went great but Camila was quite disappointed with the fact that the crowd kept on chanting anthems of their beloved football teams. Soon after finishing the performance she tweeted:

Very rude but whatever. I’M GLAD U GUYS LOVED IT!!!!!

After some moments, she tweeted again as more of an explanation. Cabello said she and her team worked hard to put on a good show and the crowd’s singing was no less than disrespectful.

“Playing back our performance and I can’t believe people were singing their teams’ anthem so loud during our performance. As my team and I worked tirelessly for so long to bring right vibes and give a good show.”

The 25-year-old singer then soon deleted her tweets and published new ones where she thanked UEFA for having her. Liverpool and Real Madrid are two of the most popular football clubs in the world and their fans are also very passionate about the game. It was probably a cautionary move to delete the tweets before they went viral for all the wrong reasons.

On the work front, Camila would be back on season 22 of the singing reality show “The Voice”. In season 21, she appeared as an advisor but this time she’ll be one of the main coaches. She is coming to replace Kelly Clarkson who is busy with her own talk show. The producers of the show think Cabello will bring really fresh energy and experience to the show as her glorious singing journey also started on UK’s biggest reality show “The X Factor” in 2012.
